Faux Stainglass and Pressed Flowers

Work in Progress

I threw a craft party and this was one of the crafts that my friends could make. It's super easy to make and fairly inexpensive!

Supplies:

  • Mod Podge
  • Pressed Flowers
  • Glass Vase
  • Foam Brush
  • Tea Candles (Optional)

How To:

  1. Clean the glass vase and organize the pressed flowers you want to use.
  2. Take the foam brush and paint a layer of Mod Podge the size of your first flower directly on the glass.
  3. Place a Pressed Flower where you painted the glass and then paint over the flower to seal it into place
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you are happy with the layout of flowers.

Things to note:

  • The Mod Podge will paint on an opaque white color, but it will dry clean!
  • You can layer the flowers over each other... to an extent. If the glass you are using is a round cylinder like what we used, not all the flowers conformed to sides. Meaning, some of them are slightly pulled away from the glass but still stuck on there.
